Community Activity: Clean Up the Environment

Background

As part of the commitment of the School of Administration and Business Sciences (STIAB) to community service and environmental preservation, we are organizing a "Clean Up the Environment" activity involving students, lecturers, staff, and the local community around the campus.

Objectives

1. Increase awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness.
2. Build closer relationships between the campus and the surrounding community.
3. Make a tangible contribution to environmental preservation.

Activity Description

Date and Time:

• Date: August 15, 2024
• Time: 07.00 AM - 12.00 PM WIB

Location:

• Areas around the STIAB Campus and its surroundings.

Event Schedule:

1. Opening:

   • Welcome speech by the Rector of STIAB.
   • A brief seminar on the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness.

2. Group Division:

   • Participants are divided into small groups to clean designated areas.

3. Clean-Up Action:

   • Cleaning up litter around the campus and its surroundings.
   • Planting trees and ornamental plants in designated areas.

4. Closing:

   • Distribution of participation certificates to participants.
   • Group photo session.

Preparation and Equipment

• Participants are asked to bring gloves, masks, and cleaning tools (such as brooms, dustpans, etc.).
• STIAB will provide trash bags, plant seedlings, and additional cleaning equipment.

Our Hope

We hope this activity can be a small step with a big impact in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of our environment. Active participation from all parties is highly anticipated for the success of this event.
